February’s TVK box was the perfect thing for this month’s awful weather and rainy days. Somehow, the company seem to have managed to improve and surprise me each month, while most subscription boxes send out a great initial box and then kind of go downhill. Well done, The VeganKind! Before I commence with this post, I’d like to apologise for the pictures. I came home after dark on the day I received the box and had seriously hurt my knee, so I was suitably unhappy and it’s a miracle I even photographed anything at all before eating it all up. In the case of the 1066 Cake Stand Cinder Toffee (full size), this is particularly true, as the only photo I have for you is of the label. Trust me, it was chewy, sweet, and all-round delicious.
To balance out that sugar shock, the box also contained a packet of InSpiral Kale Chips (full size). I’ve wanted to try these for a while, but haven’t had a chance. I absolutely loved these, and a new vegan shop has opened in Liverpool recently where I’ve spotted them! They’ll definitely be purchased soon.
A non-food product was sent in form of Organic Surge Sugared Almond Shower Gel (full price). I haven’t tried this yet, but it smell amazing and I absolutely love being sent new vegan cosmetics to try out!
Another item I’ve been wanting to try for ages is Choc Shot (full size). It’s a nice healthier alternative to regular hot chocolate and it’s delicious. I’ll be buying it again for sure!
Lastly, the box contained a Braw Bar (full size), which I gave to Jake as I despise date bars. It was the only flop item in this box, as it contained a stone. That kind of ruined the flavour I think…
Overall, I’m still really pleased with my subscription. Although the box only contained 5 items this time, they were all full sized and came to a retail value of £12.62, which I really can’t complain about! I hope the brand continue to produce such high-quality items, I’ll be a long-term subscriber for certain!
Have you received your TVK box yet? What did you think?
Disclaimer: I receive a 50% blogger discount on my subscription. This in no way affects my review. If I don’t like a product, I’ll be sure to let you know.
