After recently starting to work out a lot more, I’ve been looking at ways to increase my protein intake. I love the flexibility and convenience of protein bars, but getting vegan protein bars in the UK is a bit tricky, and getting affordable ones is impossible. So I turned to the healthier (and arguable more fun) method: DIY. This recipe was actually the first I tried after seeing it on one of my favourite food blogs, Oh She Glows. They taste nice, they are nutrient dense, and they have chocolate. Apart from protein powder, which I have anyway, all ingredients are easy to get and the recipe is quick and easy. I’ll still be experimenting with other recipes, but I feel like these will be something to come back to often! You can find the recipe here.
