Exciting News & Life Update

Hello everyone! I realise it’s been a bit quiet here, so I thought I should probably send a life sign. I’m still here, all is well, but my third and final year (hopefully) as an undergraduate has begun and I’m definitely feeling the pressure. I’m working on two short dissertations/special studies/whatever you’d like to call them alongside my regular coursework, and, combined with ballet and work, I’m completely swamped. While I obviously love this blog and will keep it up and running, it will have to take a backseat. To avoid neglecting it like I’ve done in the past, I’m aiming for about two posts per week. After all, I don’t want to post lots of boring or badly written things just for the sake of adding content.

Although university is really demanding at the minute and I’ve never worked this hard in my life (not even during my Abitur preparation!), I’ve also never been this happy. I love my courses this year, especially the main tutor for International Studies has done an incredible job at structuring and planning this year’s course, and I feel like I’ve learnt more in these past two weeks than I have during my entire degree so far. I also love dissertation work, which is why I’m currently in the library on a Saturday afternoon. Geek.

I’m also really excited to tell you that from now on, I’ll be writing a monthly contribution to my absolute favourite blog, Vegan Housewives. My first post, A Vegan Day Out in Liverpool went up today! Click the picture to read it.

I’ve also got a few product reviews planned, and I’m hoping to get back to posting some recipes, as I feel they’ve been a bit neglected in the past. Let’s see where this goes!

Thanks for reading :)

Love the one day around Liverpool blog! I’d usually chuck in Hope Street as well :) We need to go to Mello Mello sometime soon as well as our vegan cookout… if our hectic lives will allow it!

Your blog is so different to the ones I usually read. I really like it. My sister has always lived in/near Liverpool but I’ve only been there once and live in the SW near Wales so it’s a tad far. Anyway I’ve nominated you for The Sunshine Award. If you are interested then please visit http://teainthetub.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/the-sunshine-award.html Thanks :)

Thank you so much, I can’t tell you how much that means to me! That does sound a bit far, although Liverpool is definitely worth visiting :)
