Living a little better, one day at a time.
Hi! I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. My name is Hannah and I started this blog years and years ago, when I moved to Liverpool to study for my undergraduate degree – hence the name. I never planned to stay, but I fell in love, got married, started a family and a career, and before I knew it, Liverpool was home. Over the years, Moving Scouse has developed into something more than a collection of life updates – instead, it’s become a resource around veganism, ethical living, and of course all things Liverpool.
We have a toddler and hanging out with her is the best thing in the world. I also love baking, working out (yoga, weights, and running are my jam), and have a soft spot for animals with no more than four legs… any more and I get a bit scared. Stories are my favourite thing ever, and I live for good books and films. I love talking about sustainability (and sustainable fashion). I’m obsessed with trainers and wear them whenever I can get away with it – formal shoes make me feel totally clumsy. I’m trying to juggle family, a career, my blog, and figure out what the hell to do with my recently completed postgraduate degree, all at the same time… it’s safe to say I don’t always manage to balance it perfectly all the time, and I’m trying to get myself to see that that’s totally okay. I no longer strive towards perfection. Instead, I try to live a little better, one day at a time.
About Moving Scouse
The aim of Moving Scouse is to share my thoughts and discoveries of low-impact vegan living with you. I’m the only one writing here, so I don’t get to publish as much as I would like, but you can usually expect a new post once a week or so. There are lots of lifestyle, family, and recipe posts on here, but my favourite thing to write about is sustainability. More recently, I’ve become particularly interested in sustainability and fashion – it’s a HUGE topic and I’m trying to share my findings as I learn about it. I’m also a huge fan of vegan, natural, low-waste beauty products, so you’ll find plenty of that. There’s nothing more exciting to me than talking to people about these topics, so please do leave me a comment if you’d like, or connect with me on social media via the links in my sidebar! You can also contact me through my contact form if you’d like to get in touch directly.
